About Us

The Medaka Genome Initiative (MGI) is an initiative of an international collaboration among research groups working on the small freshwater fish Medaka. The aims are to develop genomic resources, soft and hard, and wet and dry, efficiently with minimal duplication of effort for the Medaka community and to share and make the best use of them for the promotion of the Medaka genome project.
