Molecular mechanisms of tumor development (using Xiphophorus and medaka as models systems)

Molecular genetics and evolution of sex determination (in teleost fish)

Individual projects include the production and analysis of transgenic fish lines or/and molecular cell biology (signal transduction, transcriptional control mechanisms), next generation sequencing methods, bioinformatics.
