RH-Mapping
Radiation Hybrid Mapping is a technique used to produce a higher-resolution map
of molecular markers on a chromosome. Medaka Cells have been x-rayed to fragment
the chromosomes. The iradiated cells were fused to hamster cells.
Around 300 clones were generated.
At present the frequency of a variety of molecular markers (including markers from the genetic map) is being
determined.
In July, 2007, we have published the Radiation Hybrid Mapping of Medaka Chromosomes LG 12, 17, and 22, on DNA Research.
